The MoviePitch CD-ROM should run automatically when you insert it into the CD drive. If it does not, there can be a number of causes. Most likely:

1. You might have the "autorun" or "autoplay" feature of Windows turned off. Check with your Windows/Help feature to learn how to turn it back on.

2. The disc might be damaged.

3. You do not have Acrobat Reader installed.

What to Do

To see if your disc is damaged, first try to view the contents of the disc using your Windows Explorer. If you can read the list of files, your MoviePitch disc is fine. If you cannot, try another CD-ROM that you know has worked before.

If it works, then the MoviePitch CD-ROM is damaged. Email us and we will replace it. If your test disc also does not work, then you have a problem with your CD-ROM drive. Sometimes blowing dust out with compressed air will fix the problem.

If you can read the disc files, launch the program by double-clicking "start.pdf". If it fails to open, make sure you have Acrobat Reader installed. You can either get it online from www.adobe.com or install it from the MoviePitch CD-ROM in the folder called Reader.

Older Computers

If your computer is eight years old or older, you might benefit from using the installer feature on the CD. To run it, double-click "setup.exe" from the root directory of the CD-ROM. This will install Acrobat, Indeo video drivers and a shortcut to your start menu.

Can't Get Past the Introductory Screen?

There is an arrow in the lower right corner of the screen as you begin. If it is not visible, enlarge the size of your window so that it shows. Click it to advance.
